As a master's student in Nonprofit Administration, I am intrigued by social injustice issues. Primarily, those issues involving economic inequality and more specifically, homelessness, affect me the most. My current endeavor is creating a nonprofit suited to the poor and working classes and the animals in their lives.
Personally, I enjoy self-reflection and spiritual growth, working on finding the path that best suits me. My family, composed of my two chocolate chihuahuas are a calming and entertaining aspect of my growth. They bring me back to the simplicity of loving and caring that really foster my participation in the external world.
My family of origin is still found in Kansas, a place I love and miss, especially as my nephew is growing up so quickly. My chosen family are still in Colorado, plugging away at their spiritual growth and activism...great mentors and friends that have taught me so much during my years here.
