It is our policy to make worship available to all regardless of their physical or mental ability to participate.
Hence, we have provided a ramp back of the church for wheelchair access to the church sanctuary and offices. Lower floor
access is on the street level. We have hearing aids available for the hearing impaired, and large print worship resources for
the visually impaired. Each Sunday Celebration is taped and available to those persons unable to come to the church building.
Interpretive services for the deaf will be provided given one week's notice of the need for such services. YOU ARE WELCOME,
INVITED and HONORED here.
If you are Differently Abled:
And the downstairs door at the end of the sidewalk is not
open, please ring the doorbell to the left of the door and someone will open it during regular business hours.
If you come
to lead or attend the Adult Education Sunday School class, please enter through the lower level doors. You will see a handicap
ramp to your right as you proceed into the hallway.
The Adult Ed. Class is back towards your left and through a large Fellowship
Hall in the Library at the back of the Hall.
If you wish to attend Worship after Adult Ed., much to our dismay, you must exit
the building and
come around to the back of the alley and use the outside ramp. Please enter the building from the alley
where you will find designated parking and a ramp entering a large room. Proceed through the room, cross a hallway through
the double doors and enter the door marked as the Sanctuary.
Please know that we are working to make our building as accessible
as possible and wish for
you to join us so that we might be changed by the gifts you bring. We have big dreams for
creating
a more inviting environment and apologize that our building does not take heed of your
abilities.
