Our Committee works hard to serve as the ears and voice of advocacy for our friends in Guatemala. We work for Just Peace in a world that has been horrendously exploited by the United States military and Corporate America.
As an Open and Affirming Church of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersexual, heterosexual and questioning people, we are committed to the struggle for human rights in society. We model this commitment by welcoming all people into every level of our life and leadership.
Our Committee works hard to educate our church community and the world around us in the principles of Restorative Justice; where Communities, Victims and Offenders are restored to right relationship wherever and whenever possible.
Our goal is to support this church's stance as a Whole Earth Community. We educate, advocate and investigate on behalf of the planet, helping our community and the world move towards a sustainable environment that recognizes the sacredness of all Creation.
